Wow! Words cannot say how thankful I am, and how great the employees working at Sunset Tire & Auto #3 were on 11/21/2016. I took my Nissan Altima in to have the bottom plastic shield/cover plate under the car looked at as the plastic screws popped off. Some were broken, and they assured me they have plenty they can use on my car and replace mine with. Not only were they fast, courteous and professional, but they filled up my tires with air and reset the tire pressure gauge that kept going off constantly in my car. They serviced me within 30 minutes, last minute nonetheless, as the morning of I called frantically trying to find a place that could be me in the same day, pronto, since the plastic shield was dragging on the ground. This was one of the best experiences I've had with a professional company by far. Probably the best service I've had with an auto company/dealership! I would highly recommend this place and go back myself. The minute I walked back into work, I told my coworkers about this place! Definitely check them out!! Thank you for your great service!!

Very professional and knowledgeable ! We were visiting the Chicago area from St Louis and had a tire problem. This mechanic stayed open late on a Saturday to repair our tire. Amazing service!

Our family has been very happy with the service we have received for the past 5 or more years. It's nice to have a locally owned business to fix our automobiles we can actually drop our cars off and walk home to pick them up usually later that day depending on the repair.

So some idiot hit my front bumper in the driver side and left without leaving a note and this has happened for the the second time now. My insurance took care of it the first time but this time I did not want to add more into more record so I was looking for a dealer who would give me a good quote without any hidden cost. My Friend's friend recommended me this place and I am telling you these guys are the best. They gave me the best quote so far as compared to the other dealers. The good thing is they don't discriminate you based on your gender. I have seen many dealers where they tend to quote more to a female. I do have a fare knowledge of estimating repair amount on a damage and let me tell you if you are looking for a dealer who would not try to pull some strings on you, they are your guys!! I would definitely recommend them to my friends!! 👍👍

I called Sunset Tire and Auto, with whom I had never done business, and asked if they could get someone over to my house quickly to replace the flat tire so we could both get on our way. They arrived in about 15 minutes, changed the tire and took the flat in for repair. Could not have handled this part of the transaction any better. I took the car in at the end of the day to swap out the now repaired tire with the spare. Chris, Angel and the balance of the staff couldn't have been more courteous, prompt and professional. In and out in about 15 minutes at a price I thought was very competitive. 100% satisfied! I will use them again and refer my friends and family to Sunset Tire and Auto for any auto service required. Customer service is the name of the game and these people totally get it. "

First time customer...now a returning customer. Discovered these guys through a local ad for an oil change. After two additional services, they are now my go-to shop. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy. They do a good job of walking you through every step and you can't help but feel that they are on your side.

I went to Sunset Tire and Auto Repair on Skokie Valley Rd for an oil change. The staff was fantastic; so friendly and helpful. The waiting room had coffee, water, and tea which made waiting for my car quite pleasant. I will definitely be going back for my next oil change, or any other car troubles I may encounter!

We were in Waukeegan on business, and had a Cadilac dealer go thru an Auto we inherited. They said the car was good to go after spending a phenomenal amount of money. Before leaving town we went to Sunset for Tire balancing. They discovered the Rims were splitting and deteriorating, and the tires were ruined because the vehicle was in storage for 6 to 7 years.Flat Spotted.They also found the rear brakes were down to the metal, therefore causing the brakes to stick, which caused them burn." Ron " went out of his way to find Rims that would fit our vehicle and made all the necessary repairs, allowing us to resume our trip back to Colorado that same day. The Time and effort he put forth was 2nd to none. It was by far the best experience we have ever had with any repair shops.
