Went for an oil change, rotation, and inspection on my newly purchased car for a noise coming from the front right wheel area. Oil and tire service was efficient, the complimentary shuttle offered from the shop was cool and got me to work while the car was worked on, however upon returning I was informed no noise was ever heard from the technician who drove my car, when the gentleman Gavin took it for a ride afterwards he could clearly hear it and apologized for nothing having been done, offering a more in depth inspection if I brought the car back. Good vehicle service offered here outside of that, but I don't have time to keep bringing my car in. I hope my situation was an isolated event.

After reviewing your ticket and speaking with the team, I discovered your concern about the noise wasn’t written on your invoice 😔 that was our mistake, and I’m very very sorry about this rare oversight. Our technician did test drive your car, but since the noise wasn’t documented, he only performed the shorter drive we normally do for oil changes and safety checks. He didn’t hear anything unusual. What he did notice was the numbers on the dash erasing one by one, which he assumed was your car syncing with an app. Because of that assumption, he didn’t write it on the invoice. I want to be clear: our staff does not have the time nor would we ever take the liberty to tamper with a customer’s system or sound equipment. Since then, I’ve done deeper research and found that this type of infotainment behavior is actually a known concern on certain Mazda CX-5 models. Mazda has even issued Technical Service Bulletin 09-018/22 addressing Mazda Connect infotainment issues. I’ve reached out privately to you to return so we can give your vehicle the thorough reinspection it deserves.
